In the spring of even years, AzFRW plans a Day at the Legislature where we may visit the Capitol, call upon our elected officials, witness House and Senate Sessions and make our presence known to all by wearing RED for a group photo! NEXT DAL IN 2018!
MELP stands for Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Project which is an ongoing NFRW project. This committee promotes literacy projects including national literacy month in September.
AzFRW also recognizes a Teacher of the Year at our biennial Convention.

Membership Chair is responsible for assisting clubs with recruitment and retention ideas, recognition for attendance and achievement milestones such as attaining 50, 75 or 100 members, club anniversaries and other motivational or special event ideas to promote and grow our numbers!
Much more information may be found on the NFRW site. All club members automatically join AzFRW and NFRW when they remit their local club dues.
Arizona has been assigned to NFRW Region 2 along with
Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico.
